We are recruiting for a Portable Inventory Specialist in our Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina facility. The Portable Inventory Specialist oversees our inventory, ensuring everything is organized, optimized, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience.Inventory management is the key to succeeding in this roletracking inventory, keeping everything in order so our clients get what they need, when they need itall while being detail-oriented and organized. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love keeping things organized, and enjoy problem-solving, this role is made for you!Nut and bolts:Process the orders! Respond quickly to process orders, work with warehouse team, respond to issues, make sure the product gets where it needs to go.Pull and Pack all portable orders and other warehouse duties as needed. Setup portable and other exhibits as needed. Arrange shipping as needed. Will be or become a shipping expert; FedEx, international, customs, etc. Manage client inventory. Work with warehouse, account team and client on damage issues, timing, process, order tracking, availability, return status, proactively look for issues. Keep client inventories up to date and accurate inside our inventory management system. Ongoing communication with account team, warehouse and operations and programming teams. Conduct maintenance and site clean-up. Solve problems. Communicate all portable related issues with Account Managers & Account Directors.We are an energetic and creative group with lofty expectations for all our employees. 2+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations. Tech-savviness—Comfortable using inventory management systems, Excel, Word, and other common office tools.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills—You thrive on keeping things in order and catching discrepancies before they become problems. Shipping and freight knowledge (or a willingness to learn) to manage domestic and international logistics. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and problem-solve efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times. Carpentry experience is a bonus! Hands-on skills will come in handy.Forklift experience is helpful, but training is available. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where strong inventory skills are key to success.
